Not only will you see many Amsterdam attractions and learn about the things and the people that make the city famous, like the canals, coffeeshops, Rembrandt and Anne Frank; but you’ll also discover places only known to locals that are not found in tourist guides.
My goal with this walking tour is to make you feel like you are part of the city instead of an outsider traveling through it. In other words, you’ll feel less like a tourist and more like a local.

Amsterdam is a relatively small, but walkable city. Yet, there are so many things to do and see in the city center, it is impossible to see everything in one tour. Therefore, I designed my guided tour for you to have a well-rounded experience: to discover as much as possible in a sensible timeframe. The tour will take you through the historic old city center, the beautiful canal district and the lively Jordaan area.
The walking tour is in English, 3 hours long, covers a lot of ground, but at a relaxed, non-rushed pace. And halfway through, we take a short refreshment and bathroom break.
I keep the groups small- on average from 2 to 10 people. So it’s easy to converse and ask questions.
